Christian Oth Studio represents 8 photographers who are leaders in the wedding industry. The studio is fully staffed with creatives who enable the photographers to produce top content as well as museum quality fine art books. With a firm footing in the wedding industry Christian and his team are sought after by the top planners in the country.

We recently opened a new studio in New York's Flatiron District. It is a creative space for our editors, retouchers and designers and there is also a full photo studio to handle our portrait shoots.

ALBUM DESIGNER - FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE

Christian Oth Studio is seeking a designer to create top of the line fine art albums for our bespoke clientele. We are looking for someone who thrives working together with fellow creatives.

Your experience:

- A minimum of 2 years design experience
- Book and/or album design experience (Please have samples available.)
- Professional demeanor
- Photography or related industry experience
- Wedding industry experience preferred, but not required
- A decent level of Photoshop retouching skills
- Expert knowledge of Indesign and Illustrator

You as a person:

- Must be dedicated with the ability to multi-task
- Proven ability to manage time and deliver in the face of tight deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work independently
- Friendly and cheerful with a can-do attitude
- Professional appearance

Responsibilities:

- Conceptualize and design albums
- Design the studio’s marketing materials
- Maintain focus and discipline to consistently deliver in the face of aggressive schedule
- Color Correction of images to our high, exacting standards
- Manage small team of interns

STUDIO MANAGER - FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE

Christian Oth Studio is seeking a dedicated and capable studio manager from within the pro-photography community. You will handle general studio administration for our newly opened photo studio.

Your experience:

- Photography industry experience
- Know your way around pro photography equipment
- Previous studio management experience a plus
- Previous photo assisting
- Administrative skills
- Professional demeanor

You as a person:

- Must be dedicated with the ability to multi-task
- Proven ability to manage time and deliver in the face of tight deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work independently
- Friendly and cheerful with a can-do attitude
- Professional appearance

Your responsibilities will be:

- Handle the scheduling of photo shoots within the studio and on location
- Organize and rent photo equipment for shoots
- Maintain photo equipment
- Assist on smaller shoots
- To serve as liaison between the different departments including Creative, Sales and the photographers.
- Maintain focus and discipline to consistently deliver in the face of aggressive schedules
- Supporting general office operations like stocking of supplies, maintaining a tidy work environment in shared areas, assisting with travel arrangements, welcoming guests and sorting mail
- Assist with company event planning
- Receptionist Duty

Salary is commensurate with experience.

PHOTO EDITOR - PART TIME WITH FULL-TIME POTENTIAL BY MAY


 Christian Oth Studio is seeking a photo editor to join our creative team. This is a free-lance position that could potentially turn into full-time. We are looking for someone who thrives working together with fellow creatives.

Your experience:



- At least 2-3 years photo editing
- Retouching experience is a big plus
- Professional demeanor

- Photography Industry experience required

- Wedding industry experience preferred, but not required

- High level of Photoshop skills

- An eye for color: having worked as a printer in a traditional dark room environment a huge plus

You as a person:

- Must be dedicated with the ability to multi-task

- Proven ability to manage time and deliver in the face of tight deadlines

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Must be able to work independently

- Friendly and cheerful with a can-do attitude

- Professional appearance
