I love it when we are on a shoot, and I look up and see Andrew across the room. I'm always happy when we are working on a job together. I think clients can get a sense of our dedication when we're working and they really respond to that.
Born on opposite sides of the world in Denmark and Australia, Ann-Sophie Fjellø- Jensen and Andrew Kelly met in a small New York City photo studio, drawn together by their married passions for photography and wanderlust. Between the two of them, they’ve traveled the world, photographing the depth and breadth of what it has to offer, from fashion weeks and corporate advertising campaigns for Adidas and Coca Cola, to natural disasters and riots with his images appearing in Time Magazine and National Geographic.
Both raised in the down-to-earth milieu of small towns, Ann-Sophie and Andrew share a singular eye for life’s subtle details. The bold colors and clean lines of Ann-Sophie’s striking spin on the classic European aesthetic meld seamlessly with Andrew’s instinct for the pulse-raising soul of a photograph. Designer and photojournalist in one, the years working side-by-side have given the couple a sixth sense into the other’s workflow. Together, they bring out the stories inherent in the most intimate moments.
