The Importance of Lighting on the Dance Floor

Christian

While you may want a dark, candlelit reception that is super romantic—it’s important to have the right lighting on the dance floor. Trust us, you don’t want the featured dances (think first dance, father-daughter and mother-son dances) to happen in the dark. Having the proper lighting on the subjects will make a world of difference in your photos. We recommend working with your planner to hire a reputable lighting designer to make sure there will be great, continuous light on the dance floor. As we mentioned in a beforeyou can never go wrong with twinkle (market) lights to fill up that dark sky. Not only will they help your photographer, but guests love watching each other having the time of their lives on the dance floor. It encourages other guests to get out there and dance!
